- What is Kalyan Mitraa?
- Kalyan Mitraa is a for-profit India on-ground assistance company. If you live abroad and need a responsible person to visit, coordinate, document, or follow through in India, you send a requirement. We assess it, propose a scope, and execute with a written record.
- Are you an NGO or a charity?
- No. Customers pay for services. The company may later allocate a defined portion of profits to social initiatives. That is not a donation checkout, and we do not describe your payment as charity.
- Do you provide legal, medical, or financial advice?
- No. We coordinate and, where needed, help you connect with licensed professionals. We do not practise law, medicine, or financial advising, and we are not a government office.
- How do I start?
- Use Tell Us What You Need. Share the city, the task, and how we should reach you. You receive a proposal before work begins, unless you have agreed a pre-authorised visit fee for a clearly scoped check.
- How does pricing work?
- Most work is quoted. Models can include a visit fee, hourly coordination, a fixed fee, a monthly visit plan, or actual expenses plus a service fee. We do not publish pretend market-wide prices. Currency can be USD, INR, CAD, GBP, AUD or AED on the proposal.
- Which cities do you cover?
- We start with major Indian cities and assess other locations on request. If we cannot cover a place well, we will say so rather than accept the work.
- Is this a 24/7 emergency service?
- No. We do not promise 24/7 emergency response. For medical or police emergencies in India, use local emergency numbers. We can help coordinate around a situation during working coverage once you reach us.
- How do I know the work happened?
- Requests are designed to carry a timeline, photos, videos, documents, and an expense summary where relevant. Trust is built through what was actually done, not through a slogan.
- Can you replace a doctor for my parents?
- No. We can take a parent to a clinic, collect medicines against a prescription, and send a factual update. Diagnosis and treatment remain with licensed clinicians.
- Will your inspection prove legal title?
- No. An inspection documents visible condition and occupancy. Title, encumbrance, and valuation are professional services we can help you connect to, not something we certify ourselves.
- Is vendor verification a full due-diligence audit?
- No. It is an on-site existence and observation visit: address, visible operations, people we met, what we were shown. Statutory due diligence belongs with licensed professionals.
