Documents NRIs commonly need collected in India
Society letters, bank correspondence, copies of certificates, and papers sitting in a drawer at a parent’s house. The constraint is authority, not enthusiasm.
People ask for “all my documents from India.” That is not a task. A task is: a society no-dues letter, a copy of an occupation certificate, a bank relationship letter the branch will issue to you, or the file in the steel almirah that your father says is on the left.
Each counter will ask who you are. A coordinator is not you. They need the authority the office actually accepts — a letter, a board resolution, a KYC process. We will tell you if the office requires you to appear, or a notary, or an advocate.
