Preparing for an India visit: a local coordination checklist
Flights are the easy part. The visit is decided by cars, keys, clinic slots, and whether the people you need are actually in town.
A seven-day visit home fails in ordinary ways. The driver is not at the airport. The society will not give keys on Sunday. The clinic is closed on the only morning you are in that city. A sibling assumed you would “just manage.”
Write the non-negotiables first: whose house, which clinic, which property, which documents. Then add transport between them with real time, not map time. Then tell someone local — or a coordinator — a week before you fly.
